southern style

it was a southern affair, baby shower style! the adorable lindsey and kristen hosted the cutest baby shower for the kristin, the mother to-be. everything was perfect - so stop over to the wanna-be southern belle's blog to check it all out.

they asked if i would make bow tie cupcakes and of course i was honored to be a part of decor!

sweet dear john

do you know "dear john" - if not jump over to lindsey regan thorne be pretty to meet this dear friend. a while back john had joked about me making his birthday cake with a golf, beach and surfing theme. i took note and quickly knew what i wanted to do - lindsey then followed up to see if it was possible for me to make his big birthday night cake - of course i was thrilled to get started on this fun project!

splashin into the 4th

i recently received a request from bergen to make blue whale themed 4th of july cupcakes, i loved the idea and was excited to get started. i stayed true to the red, white and blue and was really happy with how they turned out. cupcakes are such a fun and festive way to decorate even a family and friends gathering.

happy 4th of july!

i hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of july!
and to celebrate, here are my minis with red, white and blue
